Dear Swamiji, We are the priest of Nairs. They call us only for death ceremony functions. After that they don’t even mind us when we see them somewhere. But see Christians, Muslims, Sndp and other Obc’s – they invite their priest for all functions such as house warming, marriage, when new baby born etc for getting their blessings. Hence our children are not in this pathway. They consider this as disrespectful and regardless job. They hv taken PG’s and most of them are working in IT fields. How can we accuse them for not taking their heritage job which is not respectful in the society. Pls advs.
