Dear Swamiji, Who is Brahma Rakshas and why are they worshipped in Temples?

Dear Manoj,
Generally it is said “a departed soul (mind) of a Brahmin or a Sanyasi are called Brahma Rakshas.
In order to get the blessings of such a departed one, who was spiritually elevated but mystically died are treated like a divine powerful one.
Hence they are all worshiped like other deities.
But in spiritual understanding, ‘Brahmam’ represents one’s own mind and if you don’t care about it, it will become a Rakhas which means evil force.
And if we care about it, it will become ‘Raksha ( one who protects).
Read Gita 6th chapter, 5th Sloka for the confirmation of this Sloka.
