Everyone says ladies are not supposed to lighten the “sandyavilakku” type things during their time of Periods(Masamuri). It is a natural thing from god then why this decrepency to them.

Any sort of physical discomfort and lack of hygiene can create a negativity in your mind.
So our elders advised such restrictions. It has nothing to do with your devotion.
