First of all thank you swamiji for your enlightening speeches. I am regularly watching in youtube. I have one basic doubt. I realize that Bhagvat Gita is the message for how to live and how a person should be. One thing I am not getting is the cast classification mentioned in Gita like Brahmana, Kshatreya, Vaisya, Shudra and Chandala. Actually this kind of classifying the society from old ages is the root cause of inequalities in our country. Some class people are treated as low class while others are treated as elite. Swamiji this is haunting me for a while when I started reading Gita. Is I am misinterpreting Gita?

Bhagavan has NOT described “Caste System” in Bhagavad Gita. What he has said is “chatur-Varnyam (that which is described as four) based on GUNAS and KARMAS. He only meant there are four different personality traits depending on Gunas and Karmas, and that has been created by me. It has nothing to do with your caste, family or the caste system as we understand today. Please try to read more on this and clarify your understanding. Hari Om.
