God is the one who created the universe then why does he destroy (pralay)the universe? why does he do that?

The thoughts about creation of the universe by God belongs to Christian and Islamic thoughts.
Hinduism never accepts the concept of creation of universe by God.
As the science proves universe is self existing, self evolving and self devolving, Hinduism proves this truth 5000 years back.
Since there is no creation, no question arises of God’s intervention into destruction.
