Hari Om . one more doubt . you have told this so many times. During Pela time we should not either light the lamp or chant manthras. We are inviting wrath of God through this . that is the general opinion among Hindus. In your opinion nothing like that .Now we are going through such phase. So will you please explain once again the reason

In olden days when infectious deaths were common, it was advisable to keep the family members of the deceased person away from temples or other places where people assembled for fear of spreading a deadly illness. It was also a way of relieving them from their social and religious commitments to mourn their loss in private. Has nothing to do with God or wrath !!! Hari Om.
