Hari Om Swaiji Is there anything like “Mujjanma Papam”? Everyone says me that its due to this I am suffering from cancer. Before I had 2 major operations, have asthmatic problem. But still I feel Iam Ok because I had met many people who are suffering much more than me. I used to pray, go to temples, respect elders and try to help others, but swamiji why God given me such punishment.

Dear Chandrikaji,
If diseases like cancer are punishments by God, why did Sri Ramakrishna Paramahamsar and Ramana Maharshi had it?
Whether you have disease or not, your body will surely go back to nature. You have no choice in that.
Before that, take care of your mind where you have full freedom.
Make it devotional and surrender at the feet of the Lord.
That is what King Parikshit did when he knew that he had only seven more days to live.
Remember, our Masters never gave too much of importance to the perishable body, but to the imperishable mind only.
So, engage your mind in the service and remembrance of the Lord.
