Hari Om Swami Ji, In Anatha Padmnabha Swami temple we see Vishnu in reclining position – “ANANTHA SHAYANAM” There the right hand of Vishnu is just above a Shiva lingam. As if Vishnu is doing pooja to Shiva. What is the significanse of this shiva lingam next to Vishnu here. Kindly explain With Pranams – Raj

Dear Raj,
Siva means the most auspicious and Vishnu means that which is the self in all.
Both are one and the same in the “Sookshma thathwam”.
But external characteristics depict Siva as innocent and Vishnu as intelligent; both are two sides of divinity.
HariOm!
