Hari om Swamiji , I lost my mother 2 months back in an road accident, she was hit by a bike and was brain dead. Two days back a close relative of our died of road accident, wherein KSRTC bus crushed her head . It was a news in paper as well . I feel very disturbed by these incidents.. It’s said that dead is pre destined .. but is there anyway that we can avoid such horrible and painful deaths? Can our karmas in this life , change the way we die in this life ? Kindly answer me.. pranamam

The laws of the Universe and ties of Karma are very subtle. Sanathanadharma has advised a way of life such that we don’t hurt even an ant knowingly. But people in their ambitious mind and selfishness forget what all we do. The ways of Karma is unstoppable. The only way is to remove a sense of ownership from your mind and do everything as a work of the divine. Then the credits and discredits of all action are taken in the same way, and they don’t affect us much. Continue Namajapam to remove unwanted thoughts from your mind. Hari Om.
