Hari Om Swamiji. I want to know about the Jhathakam . Is it necessary to see the jhathaka poruthams for a marriage? If an astrologer says the jhathakam of the girl & boy are not matching, then should we cancel it even if both families are known for years and are interested to continue with the proposal. Will be grateful for your valuable reply.

The most important porutham is manaporutham, astrology also says that. You should understand that there are millions of people in this world who live long successful married lives without the support of jathakam. It is high time our community comes out of such beliefs. The interest of the couple and their families are more important than any astrologer’s interest. Hari Om.
