Hari om swamiji..iread the concept of temple mentioned in ur site,but the temples in north india are much different than that of south.like removing of shirt, kodimaram and even the rituals.when the concept is all about our body and mind ,then why is this duality in the same country,in a same religion.??

Dear Sandhyaji,
In our tradition, you can see so many varieties of rituals and customs.
Every thing is based on some principle.
In North Indian temples, you are allowed to touch the idol which is strictly forbidden here.
Truly speaking, it is not the ritual, but your mental involvement that transforms you.
Understand and practise the knowledge in our Scriptures and see the transformation in yourself.
