Hari om swamiji . My native is in kasaragod district and theyyam is is very familiour in our areas but I cannot understand why we included the costom of sacrifise in it. How god will shower blessings for these cruel activities. I will be very gladful if you can clear my doubts

Dear Vineshji,
Mind can imagine and experience any thing when the body consciousness disappears.
Here devotion leads to such a mental state.
I never recommend any sort of punishment of the body, even in the name of devotion.
Meditation is the best way to realize the divinity within.
