Hari Om Swamiji, this is the second time i am writing to you .The last time I wrote was from hospital after my mother met with an accident and was in surgical ICU. My mother expired after two days of accident. She was a regular viewer of your talks and was very spiritual. After her death people around our locality started saying it’s an unnatural death and special pujas to be done because she died in an unfortunate Nakshatra. We are three brothers n sister and we never believed in astrology neither we knew all this since we grew outside Kerala. It deeply hurts to hear such things relating to her since she always was a person who felt that there’s nothing above God and our Karma is the only benchmark. To add to confusion on vav bali day a cat died in our house, it’s a normal stray cat. With people saying so many things like pindum in the family ( series of death to happen one after another) the morale of my brothers is slowly getting effected. I don’t know how to take this situation. Whether any truth is there or just lose talks .Kindly enlightenment on this topic, if at all any speck of truth is there how to cope it . The astrologer has already given a list of poojas to be done after 41 days, but how to uplift our minds and keep ourselves positive in this trying time kindly guide us on that. Thank you so much Guruji.

Everybody has a certain amount of prarabda to live off in each life and when that is completed, the soul leaves the body. No star, no date or no other person is responsible in the journey of the soul. We all die of various causes, accidents, natural disasters, disease or aging. There is not a lot to discuss here. You don’t have to pay any attention to any such talks. Chant NAMASIVAYA when disturbed. Your mother would have acquired enough good karma by the way she lived, to move on to a better life. That is all that matters. Hari Om.
