Cloning only means life is propogated from an existing cell unlike from the fusion of a sperm and egg as in fertilization. The life process in the parent cell used in cloning, however, originated like any other being. You are a clone from one sperm and one egg. Cloned animal is a clone from one parent cell. That’s all.
