Hari Om Swamiji. What is the concept behind lord Ganapathi & Hanuman?
Posted by Gayathri on May 19, 2017
The word “Gan- Esha” means Lord of all groups. Ganesha signifies the power that is above all groups of energies. Ganesha symbolises a combination of gyan shakti and karma shakti, with wisdom and effortlessness. Elephants don’t walk around obstacles, neither are they stopped by them. They just remove them and walk ahead – signifying effortlessness. So, when we worship Lord Ganesha these qualities in us are kindled and we take on these qualities.
Hanuman represents pure devotion and complete surrender. On a subtler level, he represents the Pranamayakosam and Vigjnanamayakosam ( the deeper layers of our being) which when developed will propel your life in the right direction, thus uniting Sita(jeevathma) with Rama (Paramatma). Hari Om.
