Hari Om SwamijiI am in big confusion.. I know it’s a very personal question but I consider you as my mentor. I am planning to have a second kid. But don’t know if it is a wise decision . The reason I want to have a kid is my son needs a company . And after his parents exit, he will not be alone. The other side is compromises in life, career, health issues. In today’s world we are not sure, if our kids will take care of us when they grow up. So is it worth making all these sacrifices…Please advise guruji…

When you give priority to the companion of your child other difficulties are irrelevant. However, if you are focusing on difficulties and responsibilities ,such a confused mind even if it conceives,might result in a troublesome child .So never keep your legs in two boats ,that ultimately would give you agonies. So focus on the need of a second child to support the first child,your devotional and dedicated mind will give you a good child who could give you solace, happiness and support when you get old.
