Hari Om Swamiji, Pls explain what is the importance of marriage? Im 26 and my relatives n friends have started insisting me to get married within a year or two mainly due to the reason that I lost my mom recently and someone would fill the void in family. But, I still couldn’t makeup my mind in this regard. Its not that im not attracted to the opposite gender. At times I feel that I can live life wihout a partner n at times I feel otherwise. N what’s the right age for marriage? Should I wait for a few more years? As per spiritual teachings reunion with God should b the main aim. How does or doesnot marriage help in that. Im a bit confused. Appreciate if u can provide ur views. Thanks

Dear Ranji,
Marriage is not living with a partner or filling the absence of others.
It is not a contract too, but it is a real understanding, acceptance and guidance between each other.
So, if you get a partner who understands your character and accepts your weakness and finally able to guide you to live a respectable life, then you can marry her.
That will ensure a divine love and a blessed marriage.
