hari om swamiji, why there are so many religions? why are humans discriminated based on religions? all are the creations of one god, still why are we discriminated? god created all the creatures equally in this world. there is no religion for birds , animals, plants , fruits, vegetables..then why for human beings???

First of all, please understand, God has not created any one equally or unequally.
How could God be so cruel? You are talking from the perception of Semitic religions where there is creator and hell and heaven to report after death and judgement.
Religion is ‘Matham’ in our words.
‘Matham’ is opinion. That means, every intelligent individual can have his/her own opinion about any thing.
So, ideally there must be as many religions as there are human beings.
(Animals do not have a developed discriminating intellect to form opinions).
All the confusions and conflicts start when people start preaching and promising some thing in the name of religion which they can not prove here and now.
Then it becomes a ‘belief’ and invariably there will be comparisons and conflicts among beliefs.
An original seeker should refer to a Scripture (as it is a guideline) and see what it offers scientifically.
Then he should practise it and see if it brings the promised change in his life here itself.
(Because who can guarantee the benefits one may get in heaven after death?).
So, utilize every moment of your life to gain as much wisdom as possible.
