Dear Jayanarayanji,

Hinduism is a combination of philosophy and mythology.
Vedas are the philosophy and all other texts that describe stories are mythology.

Though our ancestors used to conduct great debates on philosophy, during foreign invasions, its glory and importance were lost.
But, fortunately our mythologies (Bhagvatham, Ramayanam etc.) were maintained.

Now, though we have the freedom to understand the philosophy unfortunately majority of the people get lost n the mythology.

Even Lord Ram and Lord Krishna constantly remind us to understand the principle behind the names and stories.
But only a few could understand it. As Sree Ramakrishna said, foolish people got to the mango tree to count the leaves; only the intelligent ones enjoy the fruit!

I request you read Ramayanam thoroughly; then you will understand the principle of Rama in us.
When Rama killed Bali, his wife Thara called him “Cheat”. Other religions would never have the boldness to call the Lord such a name. Also Lord Krishna was called bad names by Shishupala.

Please understand, our Avathars were not perturbed by these names.
I request you to study properly, and then discuss the philosophy part (not the story part, which will not help you to transform your mind).
Our religion is not focusing on the personification of the Avathars.

Don’t limit the vastness of our brad-minded religion into a Semitic, blind religion.
