Hari OM, amidst a discourse , you enacted a tale of Swami Tapovana and swami chinmayanada..where swam tapovana was presented a basket of sweets by local ruler. and swamiji kept in his chamber without distributing it to the hunger struck disciples, this created a wave of anger among disciples and many of them left the group.later when swami chinmayanada visited him, he told him to get the basket and immerse it in ganga, adding to further angering of his disciples. my question is, how is this act of swamiji justified and what message does this story convey? thank you in advance…

We value what we consider important. But the great masters consider their inner feeling or connection with self is more sweeter than all other sweets. To teach the lesson of the inner treasure they ignore outer things.
Those who fail here can not move ahead.
