Hari Om, Dear Swamiji I have listened Bhagavatham through you tube so far I did not have a fortune to hear directly. I did understand the birth of Lord Ayyappa was not from Lord Siva and Mohini. Could you please explain how was it then and also about Sivarathri.I had superstition about both.It has been cleared but I do not know what it is really. Thanks sajin Hari Om

It is so unfortunate that our elders never try to think about the logical aspect of the story.
Unless we think in a logical and rational way, we can’t discover the truth.
The story itself has no logic. This story one way gives a message of “unity”.
If we are all untied we can archive impossible to possible.
Just think about our ‘independence war’; when all united we could defeat British people.
The other side (spiritual meaning ) is, this whole event of “palazhi madhanam” is happening within us.
The Devas and Asuras are our own good and bad thoughts and one can over come the negative thoughts and achieve real spiritual truth.
HariOm!
