Hari Om! i have heard in several discouses that it the MIND that is creating problem not the MOTHER-IN-LAW. kindly clarify. when a newly married woman who leaves her all behind is tortured for dowry and not accepted in the new family and is not supported by the husband? although i believe in karma theory, does it not then become the duty of this girl to assert herself against injustice or should she keep quite thinking that it is not her in-laws but her mind is the problem? is it not that she is tortured because of the corrupted mind of her inlaws? How then should this situation be addressed? in most cases once the girl is married then she has to deal with her problem. no matter what she should not bring the problem to her parents as her parents have already had enough stress and strain? now in this case, are not the girl’s parents attitude (mind) wrong? a girl child whether in a poor, middle class or an affluent family is not given the choice to marry or not to marry. She can choose or reject the bridegroom. But so long as to exercise the choice of not getting married is concerned is frowned upon.

Dear Ujwalaji,
Whatever may be the situation you are in, your mind has the power to turn into an advantage or challenge. Whether you want to yield to the situation or surrender to the Lord is upto you to decide. If you have mental strength, clarity and sincerity, you will succeed every where. This is the law of life.
HariOm!
