HariOm, Swamiji, Were animal sacrifice performed during “yagams” by Brahmanas in olden days? If so, how do we substantiate in this age? I am confused.

Dear Sivanji,
The yajnas are conducted for unity in the society and prosperity for the individual.
The present form of yajna should be jnanayajna and japayajna. So we need not worry about what happened in the past.
