Hariom Swamiji,Thank you very much for your answer.Swamiji, please tell me why elders were not allowed pregnant ladies to light deepam in house or visit temples or stand in front of Vigrahas after 7th month of pregnancy time? Is this a superstition? What is the science behind this? Which mantra is best to chant at the time of pregnancy that will help the baby’s future? Please clear my doubts. HariOm

Dear Priyahari,
If a pregnant lady especially from sixth month onwards undergo a fear, that may lead to either miscarriage or giving shock to the child. Understand, from sixth month onwards the baby understands all the feelings of the mother.
Our elders are really protectors of our culture but unfortunately they could not explain properly.
So while lighting the lamb there may be chances for getting fear either because of fear of God or the flame, so better avoid.
But if your mind is so strong you can do any thing like Devaki Devi, though she knows Kamsa will kill her son she became mother of Krishna. May all our mothers are like Devaki Mata, then only our country will be blessed with many powerful Krishnas.
