Hi Swamiji, I am about to finish listening the Bhagavata Saptaham mp3 downloaded from www.sreyas.in I am very much grateful to you by giving this discourse to the whole world. I realized that India has everything within. 1. Still why people are affected and attracted by Western civilization? 2. Do you think we missed essential elements in our educational system for last couple centuries? 3. What we can do to introduce again this in our educational system?

Dear Binu,
The far-sightedness of foreign invaders to conquer the spirit of India led to the disintegration of India’s great culture.
Hundreds of years of slavery made Indian minds weak and a weak mind is always tempted by negativity.
Even after Independance, our politicians were not interested in reconstructing the Great Indian Culture, so our education system also failed in this aspect.
Now, what we can do is, develop an education system for spreading Knowledge from our Scriptures and Holy Texts which complements the formal education system simultaneously.
That is exactly what we are doing right now. We need support from our temples and other seva organizations to bring small children to the Light of Wisdom.
