How do we achieve self realisation?Why is it so hard?

If someone asks you who you (self) are, you say your name, family, job, place of stay etc. Though these things help to identify you, you are not exactly that. Then what are you? How do you define the you who has this name, job, house etc. Searching for that “i” (jeevatma) and coming to the firm realization and conviction that you are part of universal “I”(Paramatma) is the spiritual process. Start with Japam, meditation, etc. Focus on purification of your thoughts and deeds. When you get started with focus, the way will open up itself. My prayers. Hari Om
