How do we help people who share their misery with us? how to deal with humiliation?
Posted by Meenakshi on May 27, 2010
Dear Meenakshi,
Please realize that only a strong person can share others’ loads of problems.
If you are mentally weak, do not try to take their load on your shoulders.
In that case, praying and wishing for their well-being is better.
If you are strong and peaceful, you can listen to them and give suggestions too.
But, you should not identify with their problems.
That is, it should be like a doctor treating a patient!
Otherwise, instead of pulling them up, you will be pulled down by them.
When some one humiliates you, see if you have contributed for that incident in any way.
Try to improve yourself!
Otherwise, express your view gently and forget the issue.
HariOm!
