How does one develop detachment without jeopardising work and personal relationships. I find it easier to read about it in Gita but difficult to practise. What is the meaning of “shraddha Kalam”? Most parayana slokas have this as a rider but what is the appropriate “shraddha Kal”.

Dear Sitaji,
Once you are ready to observe yourself and nature, and use your intelligence, you can detach yourself from external objects. Otherwise, practise meditation; there visualize a form of any deity, concentrate and involve deeply and surrender your self at the Lotus Feet. Say, you are a Dasa of the Lord and whatever comes is God’s Prasadam.
Slowly the mind will get out of negative reactions. See, when our mind is able to do Spiritual Sadhana, that time is good and appropriate time.
