I am a vegetarian and do not eat meat,fish or eggs but I eat onions and garlic. Is it bad. I know everything depends on our mind, but I have heard lot of Rishi’s do not eat onions and garlic. Please answer my question

Dear Geethaji,
Lord Krishna in Bhagavath Geeta advices on Sathwik food.
Onions, Garlic and the so called things with strong aroma are not recommended for a Sadhak as they retard mental purification.
