I am mother of a 30 years old son having epilespy since childhood. He is on lifelong medication, maintained well as per family doctor. He has a lower self confidence since he considered him self different from other healthy men. Currently he is working part-time job and like to get married. We went through some proposals and a girls family like my son, vice versa. However, we have not mentioned my son’s medication to the girls family. We are getting opinions, that not to share the medical history with the family since this might lead to rejection. I dont want to mislead any girl we are bringing to our family. We are happy with brides family, but could you please advise me how can I deal with this situation, and communicate effectively with family on this matter. Hari om

Dear Pushpaji,
Today, many divorces are happening because of such dishonesty.
If they decide to part when they know it, how will you take it?
How about people cheating you similarly?
I would suggest that a marriage should be built up on mutual understanding, then only it will last long.
So, it is better to convince them with medical approval for marriage to avoid further complications.
If he can lead a normal life, then there should be no problem.
My Prayers and Blessings are with you,
HariOm!
