I have doubt regarding mode of worship of Lord Shiva. In temples Lord Shiva is represented as Shivalingam. In normal images Lord Shiva is depicted in full human form or as Ardhanareeshawara.Actually hat does the shivalingam reprsent and in which form we are supposed to meditate?

Shiva is the formless Truth and Shiva Lingam is the symbol of that most auspicious consciousness.
You can worship in whichever form your mind is naturally attracted to, because that effortless attraction to Divinity will uplift your mind.
