I see your program on Gyanyogi TV… During your discourse, you frequently say to the audience “parayooo … ” before you actually say the thing. What is it that you expect them to say… the words that you wish to say next? or the words you want to hear next? or is it that the discourses were already given to the attendees and you want them to say the continuation of your discourse at that point?

Thank you for pointing out a common usage in my speech. You will probably know all our scriptures are in the form of “samvadam” or dialogue. There is not much meaning in someone talking unilaterally and others listening. An active participation of the audience is expected to produce full benefit for the talk. It is just a way of engaging their attention and making sure they follow what I say. It is also giving them a chance to think what the answer to the question posed could be, before I give them the answer. You are a good listener and thanks for writing to me. Hari Om.
