If god wanted everyone to attain moksha, why did he create such a beautiful universe, then, go on to say that all that we see around us is unreal?

God does not want you to attain Moksha. To attain moksha is the highest state of your possibility as human. As you live in this beautiful universe, the very precision of its functioning leaves you wondering about the force behind it. As you seek that higher power, you realize you are not separate from it. The deeper you understand the divine, you will merge with that universal awareness. That state is called Moksha. Once you reach there you will realize this whole world exists in that awareness. If that awareness is not present the world is non- existent, hence unreal in a relative sense. Hari Om.
