If the chaithanyam is within us as per your discourse and we have to reach to get from where we have come What is the role of temple? In Vedas its written about homam and sacrifices , why this should be done?

Temples have to be looked upon as centers of Sadhana where you are in an environment of high spiritual energy. In the temple you are able to understand and focus on the divinity within you much more easily than elsewhere. Yagnas and sacrifices were advised as methods of worship for different periods ( Sathya yuga or treta yuga). For Kali Yuga, ” Nama Sankeerthanam” is advised. Start doing Japam and Dhyanam. Hari Om.
