The word yoga comes from the root yug meaning union. It is the union of body, mind and consciousness with the divine intelligence that orchestrates the universe. There are 4 types of yoga- Jyana, Bhakti , karma and Raja. It should be looked upon as a means to expand our limited awareness to the universal consciousness. Hari Om.
