In Rama-Ravana war,Rama becomes 1000s so that each warrior was thinking that he is fighting with Rama. When I read this it reminds me of Rasaleela. Is there any connection with these two?

In Rama’s story it may be a projection; that is, a war tactic to mesmerize and defeat Ravana in the war field.
But in Krishna’s life it was more than a projection. The Gopis felt the divine presence of Lord Krishna and their minds merged with HIM in Rasaleela. That revealed the Supreme Truth to them.
