Kausalya and Kaikeyi were generous enough to share their part of payasam with Sumithra. There is no mention anywhere that Sumitra was a degraded or discarded wife to Dasaratha. Why the king did npt give her payasa along with the other two ?

Dear Nairji,
Behind every action you can see some mental calculations and commitments.
Just think about your self; suppose you bring home something special and distribute it among your children.
When they are eagerly looking on that, tell me whom will you give it to? You will give less to the one who is more matured. You will also give more to the one, with whom you have a promise.
Similarly Dasaratha can’t avoid his first wife Kausalya.
Also he promised many things and boons to Kaikeyi.
Sumithra is the only option left as Dasaratha sees more maturity and friendship in her. Sumithra means “good friend”.
He knows she will never complain.
Now take the philosophy part – two parts of payasam means the Budhi(Bharatha) and Mind (Rama).
Then Chittam (Lakshmana) and Ahamkaram (Sathrugna).
All are in us only.
