Most reverend swamyji. I am a Christian and have utmost respect for your teaching. I have been listing to you via asianet. I have found peace, solace and consolation through your teaching. I am now a “new me” after following your teaching. I need your guidance on a matter very dear and near to me. I live in the USA and have taken care of my parents for the last 22 years with me along with my wife. When my father really got sick I took him back to Kerala to our family home where my brother reside and I paid for all the expenses for his care including 24/7 home nurse. And he passed away at age 97 after 6 months being in Kerala. Now the real question is my mother. she is 85 and lives in our family home where my brother and his family live who are unemployed. I have heard they are not treating her as good as we treated her in the USA; but it is so so. If I brought her back here she will be lonely and if she get sick and bed ridden we have no choice but to take her back to Kerala since we can not take care of her 24/7 since we both work. Basically I am in a very bad situation. I am seeking your enlightenment. Please e mail me if you nee any clarifications before you answer. Thank you so much for being the best of teachers I have seen Dr.Joe J., MD

Though you can’t care her physically you can care her with your soothing words. Call her daily and read little passages from bible (the portions which give mental strength) and give her some courage. Instead of looking to the treatment she is getting always ask ” what I can do for her?”
Your prayers and your soothing, loving and caring words are the highest medicines and she will forget all other problems.
This will change your brother’s attitude too.
