My amma is a great devotee of Guruvayurappan.She use to watch Swamiji’s programme in TV and ask others to watch that. She believes and speak what that has told in bhagavatha. But now i feel so sad about her, because when i asked her to let me married to the guy to whom i love, she opposes me. I beleive in my love ,becz he is the one who is the gift from my god. she says that its all because of her fault it happened to me and she is so worried and use to blame herself. I dont know what to do.I believe in my god n expect good things will happen to me.I love my amma so much and i cant resolve her becz she treats me like a kid as all mothers do. So i thought swamiji can help me out with his valuable suggestion.Also request you plz dont put this mail in the web page.

Dear Soori,
What we think will not be the thinking of others.
Your mother may be opposing you out of her experience.
The so called “thrill of getting the gift” will not be there when you actually get it.
Our mind will find out fault on what we have and it will value what we don’t have.
If your love is developed out of behaviour and cultural understanding, then introduce your lover to your mother.
Once your mother is confident about him, she will agree with you.
Understand, her only concern is your happy life.
