My Dear Swamiji, It is a delight to watch Bhagavathamrutham in Asianet. Even though I had heard many discourses in bhagavathgeethaand upanishads I cannot understand the purpose of creation by God and make man suffer through his maya. Afterall God has created according to his own will.Man has never asked the God to Create him.Please help me. with Thanks Balagopal.R. dt29-11-09

Dear Balagopal,
It is not a creation; it is manifestation of mind through a body.
When you say creation, you feel that there was void before creation.
When you give birth to a child, the semen and ovum unite to form a child.
The child was there before in another form in your body. Similarly te mind (the bundle of accumulated impressions) also existed befre entering your body. That means the thoughts in the child were not produced by you.
(If it were so, your child would have been your same character).
