My Dear Swamiji, My Humble pranams to you!!! When we read through the Vedanta and also Gita, it is said the same soul prevails in all. Correct me, but if I can put it in lay man’s way, If Paramatma is SUN, The Sun’s Rays which is same nature as SUN and equal in quality can be the Jivatma. If that being the case the Jivatma in every human being is same , So How to explain the concept of Blood relation ship like Brother, sister, Father, Mother etc . Because of past Karma, the soul took birth in a new body in a new womb. But the Soul remains the same till it completes its karma and joins paramatma. So my question is, How to view various relations, when the soul is of same nature but prevailing in different bodies. Thank you and kindly excuse me if my question is incorrect or vague.

Your question is despite the same Paramatma being the essence of all Jeevathmas, what is the reason for the variances we see. Paramathama is pure, still consciousness, while Jeevathma is consciousness plus thoughts. Thoughts are created by the inert consciousness tying up with life force or prana. This is turn creates karma samskara(or behavioral tendencies)…..so each jeevathma carries its baggage of karma vasanas accumulated over several births. So in an absolute sense (paramardhika satyam) we are all the same, but in a transactional sense(vyavaharika satyam) we are different. Hari Om.
