Dear Uthara,
Do pranayam, meditation and read and understand the second chapter of Bhagavad Gita.
There is no problem in inter religion marriage. But, before taking a decision, try to understand the other person’s mind at least to some extent. The ego and opinion clashes due to the difference in culture and upbringing should not be too strong to lead the relationship into a tragedy.
If you are not sure of this, it is wise not to proceed.
