My humble Pranams Swamiji. I do regular sadhana like meditation and namajapam. As part of my Sadhana is the thulasi worship which i do early morning after shower, i water the plant and say a manthra. Due to space restraint at my home, i keep the thulasi thara in the front of house and not able to circumambulate the thulasi . But my Gita class Master says its compulsory to circumambulate otherwise its no use. I didn’t argue but felt doubtful with that statement. My friend also worships the thulasi like i do and unable to circumbulate due to space restraint. Please enlighten us Swamiji. Hari Om.

Worshiping nature has always been part of our practices and we specifically worship and protect trees like the Banyan, Bilva and plants like thulasi for the many benefits they offer us. Tulsi is worshipped for its ability to balance hormones and stress. Staying near the plant for some time is as good as circumambulating it. Hari Om.
