My humble pranams Swamiji. When someone passes away, is there such a thing as good or bad time? I believe birth and death are natural phenomenons and all we need to do is pray for the departed soul, do shraddha, observe the bali tharpanam on specific days etc. Then how can someone’s death time affect his or her next of kins and family? is it important that we must consult a priest about the time? Please enlighten us on this Swamiji. Every life is triggered by a certain amount of prarabthakarma an atma bears. Once that is lived off, the body is dropped and the soul continues its journey. Much as we give all the importance to our worldly relations, the journey of the soul is independent of others. No need to worry about the time of death of a dear one. You love, care and respect when the person is alive is more important than anything. Hari Om.
