Namaskaram Swamiji. First of all I request you to pardon me for this question. This question is in reference to a question from Rukmani amma (22.9.’11). ( You used to mention in your prabashanams that Hindus are given the full power to ask questions to their Gurus.Hence I am taking that privelege.) I think November and December months were started along with Christ Era i.e. 2000 years ago. But Kurushethra war was happened more than 5 thousand years ago. Then how can we say that Kurushethra war was happened during November and December.

I am so sorry, because I forgot to mention the Indian names of these months.
I should have mentioned “vrichikam” instead of November, because now we are so familiar with these English months.
However we have our own months which are based on astrological and astronomical calendars.
Fortunately we never lost them, still we use it at least in our country.
