Namaskaram Swamiji, First of all thanking you so much for the knowledge you are transfering to the common people and showing the path to lead a happy life. As a beginner, I would like to know how to do meditation to gain a balanced mind. I would ask my children also to do it with me. I have read from the earlier answers that to chant OM for 21 times in the morning. Is this what i have to do and while chanting this should we have bhagavan’s roopam in mind. Please guide me with the correct initial step to meditation. Hpw many times in a day we should practise? Can we do this while travelling in bus as i travel almost 4 hrs in a day for work. Some days i chant this; but i am not getting concentration, the mind keeps pouring with different thoughts. I work too and its very very hectic but i enjoy my work. But at the same time i want to do meditatio and have a balanced n peaceful mind. I always read from the apps the Bhagvatham. There are 6 cantos in it. Will you publishing the balance later. This app is really very good. We are thankful to you always. Thank you very very much and hoping to have a reply rrom side. Regards Prisha

Let me congratulate you on your efforts to learn and to teach your kids as well. Please watch the meditation session on bvtv.org to understand better, or you can watch one of Swamiji’s live programs online. It is natural for the mind to wander in thoughts in the beginning of meditation, but you will slowly be able to overcome and concentrate as you practice. There is no special place to do meditation. A quiet place is good for beginners to concentrate but slowly your very nature will become meditative, where your mind remains calm, in the midst of all noise. We will work on getting the rest of Bhagavatham to you soon. Thank you for your kind words. Hari Om.
