Say you have a soap bubble. There is air inside the bubble, just like there is air outside. What happens when the bubble bursts? The air in the bubble becomes part of the universal air. Similarly, your athma (jeevathma) is, Paramatma contained in a body. It goes through several bodies until it attains a level of perfection beyond which it does not require another birth. At that point, it merges with the universal athma, just like the air in the bubble, meaning it becomes part of Paramatma. Thereafter it does not attain a body, as it is not separate from the Universal Soul. Hari Om.
