Dear Manojji,
Ego means “I”ness and attachment means “My”ness.
The only medicine for both is the thought ‘Idam, Na Mama’ which implies ‘all these are not mine, but Your’s, Lord’.
Surrender all your possessions and attachments at the Lotus Feet of the Lord and become free.
