Namaste Swamiji If monthly periods (menustration) is a natural process they why is it that in our house my mother in law and sisters in law treat me as a sinner whenever i get my monthly periods. they treat me as untouchable to the extent that they don’t allow me to touch my child and don’t give me food. What paapam have i committed swamiji or is it a paapam to get monthly periods? What does our shastram say about this? Kindly reply.

These are customs followed in our houses.
During those times, ladies required lot of rest.
It is a natural process.
(Instead of fighting with your mother in law you can eat food without her notice).
