Namasthe guruji. I have a son aged 12 yrs. He is not at all obeying me . Always think negative. He is very lazy to write..thats why scoring low marks ..always argue with us. I dont know how to tackle .. plz suggest some way

Who is your Son’s best friend? What is the one thing he enjoys doing? When is the last time you took him out to do something entirely of his choice? What does he think of his future? If you gave him all the freedom to do whatever in life what would he become? Write down 10 qualities of your son that your really appreciate and feel blessed, for having him as a son. Children sense any negativity and positivity that we show to them. He is now sensing more repulsion from you than love and inclusion. That attitude should be corrected first. Make him feel you are there to help and support him, not blame and correct him. That he is a precious person in your life. Respect, obedience etc. cannot be demanded. It has to be given willingly. See what you can do as a parent to deserve it. Teen age is a time children are in turmoil themselves because of all the hormonal changes that happen in their body and mind. They revolt, act angry and crude. Understanding and sympathy is what they need. Hari Om.
